luberon :: peaceful bliss in provence

I don’t think it would be too dramatic of me to say that I fell off the face of the blogging world, would it?! It’s been less than a month since my last post, which isn’t all that long, but it’s the longest break I’ve taken in three years so it feels like an age to me. I had an intense couple of weeks of working every spare minute (aside from being on bridesmaid duty for a hen do), but things are slowly winding down a little.

Before all of that, E and I spent a few days in France visiting family, which was truly lovely. So I hope you’ll forgive my absence with these gorgeous views of Luberon?

My mother-in-law lives in the Luberon region, in the middle of the idyllic countryside which looks like the postcard perfection of provence, and it always feels so relaxed and peaceful there. We went for walks, cherry-picking, and ate every meal outside on her terrace.

I’m coming to grips with my new 50mm lens – it’s not a wide angle lens that are usually preferred for landscape photography, but I am quite in love with it and can’t wait to learn more!

I can’t wait to share more photos of our trip, as we visited somewhere quite special… but for now, I hope you can breathe in some of the fresh air and sunshine from these.
